Partnering across the organization, you'll leverage automation and emerging AI technologies to optimize workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve overall financial effectiveness.What You Will Work On: Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through account reconciliations, journal entries, and adherence to GAAP standards. Analyze financial results, identify key variances against budget and prior periods, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. Oversee revenue accounting activities across multiple venues and POS platforms, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data. Investigate and resolve POS discrepancies through cross-functional collaboration with Systems, Treasury, and operational teams. Ensure all non-POS revenue streams are accurately recorded and reconciled each reporting period. Manage complex monthly accruals, including insurance, utilities, and other significant operating expenses. Partner with Risk Management to monitor claims activity, evaluate reserve balances, and align reporting with actuarial assessments. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, scalability, and accuracy within the accounting function. Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort. Develop, enhance, and document accounting processes while supporting system implementations and technology-driven enhancements. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong internal controls.What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility. CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA credentials preferred. Experience within restaurant, hospitality, retail, or other multi-location business environments is a plus. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including the ability to research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance to complex transactions. Proven ability to identify process improvements and leverage automation, AI, or technology solutions to drive operational efficiency. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels. Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
