Position Summary
The Art and Nature Activity Specialists work alongside the Activities Team, they serve work to further the mission of the camp through the development and delivery of Art and Nature programs at camp that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the camper's age and abilities. They support the physical operation of program facilities and equipment. Depending on specialty, additional training would be provided onsite. Camp Lakota is a Girl Scout overnight camp that serves girls in grades 2-12. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
GSGLA Lakota Overnight Camp
The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles Camp Lakota is a state of the art, recently updated residential camp. Located just 90 miles from downtown Los Angeles, this premier camp site will host a full summer camp season. The camp will focus on providing a stand-out girl-led experience for campers of all ages and communities across our 6,272 square mile footprint. The camp offers a variety of specialty activities including a high ropes challenge course, horseback riding, swimming, and archery.
