Deliver outgoing mail to the post office daily. Assist with scheduled transportation coverage on a 24 hour basis including weekends; pager may be assigned, driver may be required to be ‘on call.” Responsible for completing preventive maintenance on facility vehicles as assigned. If assigned, responsible for the coordination and scheduling of the transportation of residents in the absence of the supervisor. Assist other departments when transportation chores have been completed. Qualifications Must be a minimum of 21 years old. Hold a valid Florida commercial drivers license and maintain a safe driving record. For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English. Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 35 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours. Hourly Rate $15.00 - $19.50 A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position.
