Job Description National Retail Transportation is seeking skilled and reliable
Local Drivers to join our team in
Perth Amboy, NJ . This job will consist of local deliveries. Drivers must be comfortable with city driving. Drivers are home daily, and qualifying drivers can receive Safety Bonuses. Freight is a combination of pallet deliveries with some drop and hook.
Schedules: 1st position - Start time: 7am
- Saturday to Wednesday
- $27.00/hr.
2nd position - Start time: 6:30 PM
- Thursday to Monday
- $29.00/hr.
Important information - NYC delivery qualified drivers needed (delivering into Brooklyn, NY 2x per day)
- 50% live unloads at dock level, 50% street unloads with lift gate trailers
- Weekend coverage required
- Potential flexibility on days of week, with weekends included

Requirements - Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
- Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
- Current DOT physical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
