To inspire a love of languages in younger students, the part-time Licensed Online Language Teacher will plan and deliver engaging live lessons in JH Intro to Languages, assess student progress, and utilize innovative teaching strategies in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality live lessons tailored to a diverse group of international students Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes Manage the online classroom on Canvas, organizing assignments and assessments for easy access Required qualifications A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the middle/junior high school level in a school setting A Bachelor's degree or higher in Languages, Linguistics, or a related field Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the teaching team Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education Knowledge of a US middle school/junior high curriculum and age-appropriate teaching approaches
