Overview Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $45.96-51.07 Hourly up to $51.07/hr Start Date: Aug 10, 2026 Apparel Designer - Knits & Lounge (Womenswear Focus) We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Apparel Designer to join our team, focusing on cut & sew knits, sweaters, and lounge categories. In this role, you'll bring fresh ideas to life-from concept through execution-while balancing trend, brand identity, and commercial viability. What You'll Do Design original apparel concepts across knitwear, sweaters, and lounge categories Translate fashion trends into seasonal collections that align with brand direction Create sketches, mood boards, and presentation materials to communicate design vision Partner closely with sourcing, materials, and product development teams Select fabrics, colors, and trims that support both aesthetic and performance goals Participate in fit sessions and contribute to garment construction and fit improvements Support seasonal line development from concept through production What You Bring 3-7+ years of experience in apparel design, with a focus on knitwear, sweaters, or lounge Strong ability to conceptualize and execute original designs Deep understanding of fashion trends, color, and fabric development Experience working cross-functionally with product development and sourcing teams Knowledge of garment construction, fit, and body blocks A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work Nice to Have Womenswear experience, especially in sleepwear or loungewear Expertise in sweater design (yarns, stitch techniques, gauges) Experience in fast-paced or high-volume retail environments Exposure to global sourcing and vendor collaboration Who You Are A creative thinker who can turn trends into wearable, brand-right designs Detail-oriented with a strong eye for fit, fabric, and finish Collaborative and comfortable working across teams Able to balance innovation with commercial impact If you're passionate about designing product that customers love and wear every day, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
