Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks (Class 6–8).
Perform engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics using modern software.
Complete preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks.
Work collaboratively with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient turn times.
Keep skills updated through ongoing employer-paid OEM manufacturer training.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy-Duty Technician (any make/model).
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic proficiency, and wiring/electrical troubleshooting skills.
Tools: Must possess own standard set of hand tools (Tool allowance provided).
Certifications (Preferred, not required): CDL Class A or B, PA State Inspection license, or OEM certifications (Mack, Volvo, Cummins).
