Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join Snyder High School as a full-time PEIMS Clerk. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate student data and ensuring compliance with state reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and parents. Responsibilities Maintain and update the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) database with accurate student information, including enrollment, attendance, and demographic data. Prepare and submit required state and federal reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Assist in the collection and verification of student data for various assessments and accountability measures. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to ensure accurate reporting and data entry. Respond to inquiries from parents, students, and staff regarding student records and data-related issues. Conduct regular audits of student records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in the development and implementation of data management procedures and policies. Provide training and support to staff on data entry and reporting processes as needed. Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to FERPA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by school administration. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data management or office administration is a plus. Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management systems. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Knowledge of PEIMS reporting requirements and educational data management practices is preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
