IDG Fall Graduate Intern Arlington, United States | Posted on 06/29/2026 Job Description InternationalDevelopment Group LLC (IDG) is seeking highly motivated students as interns tojoin our dynamic Internship Program in the fall months (September through December).Based in IDG's home office in Arlington, VA, our Internship Program offersopportunities to work alongside an energetic group of professionals on projectsdesigned to gain hands-on experience in the rewarding and challengingprofession of international development. Preference will be given to candidateswho are available full-time (40 hours per week) on a hybrid schedule with in-officedays Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote on Mondays and Fridays. Parttime and fully remote availability will also be considered for the rightcandidates. Hourly rate is $12.77 Duties/Responsibilities: Provide support for newbusiness development such as contributing to writing technical proposals, recruitment,and other proposal development tasks. Conduct research for bids andcapture planning including new client prospecting. Assist with program logistics,including arrangements for airfare and hotel, visas, meeting schedules,and briefing books for traveling IDG staff and consultants. Assist in organizing documentsarchives of IDG programs on SharePoint. Provide support for ongoingprojects. Perform other duties asassigned by their supervisor. Requirements Students, preferably seeking aMaster's degree or recent graduates of Masters Programs will be considered;applicants should have relevant coursework in economics, economic development,private sector development or related areas. A minimum of 1 relevant internshipexperience is highly preferred. High degree of organization,attention to detail, and skill at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. Ability to work as a part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Officesuite required with strong demonstrated skills in MS Word formatting preferred. Strong communications, analytical,writing, and interpersonal skills; and excellent report writing abilitiesrequired. Professional proficiency in otherlanguages preferred. This is a paid internshipcompensated at $12.77 per hour Hybrid work schedule: Workremotely on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office collaboration Tuesdaythrough Thursday at our Arlington, VA office.
