Job Title: Janitorial
Location: Sugar Land, TX 77487
Pay Rate: $16.50/Hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to support daily cleaning, sanitation, and facility upkeep in both office and production environments. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace, including common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior building areas.

Job Duties

• Clean and maintain building areas by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and solutions while following safety procedures and wearing required PPE
• Operate floor scrubber machines as needed
• Clean and maintain parking lots, walkways, hallways, and entryways
• Follow SOPs for trash removal, recycling, and production waste disposal
• Respond promptly to cleaning and sanitation requests or issues
• Water plants inside the facility according to schedule
• Clean and maintain MOVCD lab area per instructions
• Inspect, stock, and replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, utensils, coffee, etc.) in break rooms and restrooms
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or defective materials to supervisor
• Support cross-training and assist in other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6+ months of porter, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation techniques
• Strong punctuality and attendance record
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Strong organization and time-management skills
