Responsibilities:

What You'll do

As a Marketing Planning Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategic marketing planning efforts and ensuring the smooth execution of various campaigns and initiatives. Your main responsibilities involve collaborating with the Category Marketing Planning Manager, merchants, and vendors to execute promotions, marketing assets, and events for Rural King product categories and brands.

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of promotions across marketing channels.
  • Manage co-op activities, including coordinating with vendors and partners to maximize marketing support and funding opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with co-op guidelines and requirements.
  • Assist in new store marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in managing sponsorships, events, and fair participations.
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and communication related to these activities.
  • Support the marketing team with various activities, such as coordinating events, conducting market research, managing social media accounts, and assisting in the development of marketing strategies.
  • Assist in gift card marketing programs.
  • Assist with coordinating local fair sponsorships within our market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify potential sponsorship opportunities at local fairs within our target markets.
  • Assist in establishing relationships with fair organizers, negotiating sponsorship agreements, and ensuring proper branding and visibility at sponsored events.
  • Coordinate logistics, including booth setup, promotional materials, and any necessary documentation or permits.
  • Track sponsorship deliverables and provide post-event analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of each sponsorship.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

  • At least 1 year of marketing experience and bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
