Job Description: PLC Programmer | Rockford, MI Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking PLC Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
- Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of control system components.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and system configurations.
Recommended Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex PLC programs and automation systems.
