Responsibilities: * Confirms information on accompanying paperwork * Set up and perform complex measurements (electrical and mechanical) to verify that materials meet all parameters as called out by the latest inspection characteristics. * Inspect parts for conformance with detail drawings, assembly drawings, military standards and general standards of workmanship. * Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, of machined, coated, and plated surfaces, and other parts for nicks, scratches, or other general damage. * Interpret drawings, specifications, and purchasing requirements. * Segregate and report non-conforming material using a Quality Notification (QN) process. * Provide OECO Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance with measurement results and data to aid in disposition of discrepant material. * Maintain accurate files, records and logs. * Supports and participates in internal and customer audits. * Train other inspectors as directed. Education and Experience: * High school diploma/GED * 3-5 years related experience Skills and Knowledge: * FAA designated Safety Sensitive position or potential assignment requires pre-employment Drug Test, and is subject to random 10 Panel DOT Drug & Alcohol testing during employment * Must have knowledge of assembly drawings, parts lists, revisions, workmanship standards, standard inspection procedures, work instructions, and wiring diagrams. * General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and CMM experience a plus. * Must be able to communicate verbally in person and in writing to individuals and/or groups. * Must have the ability to communicate with a variety of personality types and levels of the organization. * Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds several times per day.
