Job Description

IEP Therapy is seeking a compassionate and student-focused School Psychologist to join our Educational Services team within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will partner with schools to evaluate and support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs, ensuring they receive personalized services that help them reach their educational goals. Working closely with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families, you will conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret testing data, and participate in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You will provide direct and indirect support to students through counseling, behavior intervention planning, crisis response, and consultation with school staff, always keeping the student’s best interest at the center of decision-making. Drawing on your expertise in child development, learning theory, and evidence-based interventions, you will recommend strategies and accommodations to support access to the curriculum and promote positive behavior and mental health. You will document services and maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings by sharing clear, actionable insights with both educational and clinical perspectives. At IEP Therapy, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive culture that values ongoing professional growth and empowers you to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives. You will have access to resources for continuing education, mentorship from experienced clinicians, and opportunities to expand your skills in areas such as autism support, behavioral consultation, and trauma-informed practices. This position is ideal for a School Psychologist who is driven to advocate for students, comfortable working across multiple school sites, and committed to culturally responsive, family-centered practice. The role typically follows the school calendar and may include a combination of on-site and occasional virtual services, depending on district needs, while maintaining regular communication with school teams and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust supports as needed.
