Title: Supply Chain Analyst I
Location: Whitakers, NC 27891
Duration: This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
The pay is $32/hr.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon - Fri)
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Support — Check inventory levels, update counts, and track materials.
- Simple Reporting — Update basic Excel sheets and simple reports.
- Warehouse Help — Assist with organizing materials and checking storage areas.
- Material Flow Support — Watch for delays or bottlenecks and report issues.
- General Data Entry — Enter information accurately into systems.
- Team Support — Work with supply chain, warehouse, and operations teams.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse work, inventory, manufacturing, supply chain support, or similar hands on roles
- Basic Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Willingness to learn and help wherever needed
Nice-to-Have (Not Required):
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse processes
- Interest in improving processes or solving problems
You’ll help the team by:
- Keeping inventory info accurate
- Supporting warehouse organization
- Helping materials move smoothly during plant changes

Supply Chain Temp
Position Overview
- The Supply Chain Analyst Co-op will support the Rocky Mount Engine Plant (RMEP) Supply Chain and Operations organizations by applying data science, analytics, business intelligence, and statistical analysis techniques to support operational decision-making and manufacturing transformation initiatives.
- This role will focus on analyzing large operational datasets, developing dashboards and reporting solutions, identifying trends and performance drivers, and generating data-driven insights related to inventory management, supply chain performance, warehouse operations, material flow, and manufacturing transformation activities.
- This role will focus on space optimization, inventory transition planning, and material flow improvements to ensure operational continuity during transformation and retooling activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Analytics & Business Intelligence:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytical reporting solutions to support supply chain and operational decision-making.
- Collect, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems including inventory, warehouse, production, and planning databases.
- Develop automated reporting processes that improve visibility and reduce manual reporting effort.
- Design data visualizations that effectively communicate operational performance, trends, and business risks to stakeholders.
Data Science & Statistical Analysis:
- Apply statistical analysis techniques to evaluate operational performance and identify key business drivers.
- Conduct trend analysis and forecasting to support inventory planning, warehouse capacity planning, and operational readiness activities.
- Develop analytical models to evaluate inventory performance, material flow efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Analyze historical operational datasets to identify trends and support data-driven recommendations.
Inventory & Operations Analytics:
- Analyze inventory trends, inventory utilization, and operational performance metrics during platform transition activities.
- Develop dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility into inventory levels, inventory buffers, and supply chain performance.
- Support forecasting and scenario-planning activities related to inventory transitions and operational continuity.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide analytical insights to support inventory optimization initiatives.
Warehouse & Material Flow Analytics :
- Analyze warehouse utilization, storage capacity, material movement, and material flow performance using operational datasets.
- Develop data-driven visualizations and reports supporting warehouse optimization initiatives.
- Create process maps and workflow analyses to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support operational improvement projects through quantitative analysis and performance measurement.
Data Management & Process Improvement:
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and standardization activities to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Document data sources, reporting methodologies, KPI definitions, and analytical processes.
- Support development of repeatable analytical frameworks and reporting standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into analytical solutions.

- Support warehouse capacity planning, material flow optimization, and storage strategy development.
- Develop dashboards and performance reporting to provide visibility into transformation milestones, inventory health, and operational risks.
- Reduce manual reporting effort and improve decision-making through automated analytics.
