Warehouse Associate

Total Talent Solutions is now hiring a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. The pay rate is $18.00 $19.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday Friday, either 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This is a role with Encon Safety Products, a leading manufacturer of safety and protective equipment.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will primarily focus on shipping activities while providing cross-functional support throughout the warehouse.

Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes, and experience working with ERP/MRP systems.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience
• Forklift experience required (sit-down and stand-up preferred)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse software
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, LTL, and international shipping processes
• Experience with Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and shipping documentation
• Basic computer, math, and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties
• Steel-toed shoes required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties:

• Process and prepare domestic and international shipments
• Create shipping documents, labels, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and related paperwork
• Load, unload, receive, and store incoming materials and merchandise
• Pick, pack, stage, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Verify inventory, maintain accurate ERP records, and assist with inventory counts
• Consolidate freight and coordinate shipments with carriers
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and discrepancies
• Maintain shipping schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Cross-train in receiving, order picking, and general warehouse operations as needed
