Position Summary

The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for accurately processing, picking, packing, shipping, and tracking customer orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery. This position plays a critical role in supporting supply chain operations, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Order Processing & Fulfillment

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Locate inventory items, scan products, and prepare shipments according to company standards.
• Verify order accuracy before shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare shipping labels and coordinate outgoing deliveries.

Inventory Management

• Track and monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Update inventory and fulfillment systems accurately and timely.
• Alert leadership of low stock levels or inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.

Customer Service & Communication

• Respond to inquiries regarding order status, shipments, returns, or exchanges.
• Collaborate with internal departments including inventory, shipping, logistics, customer service, and operations to support smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Resolve fulfillment issues promptly and professionally.

Operational Support

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.
• Follow company safety procedures, operational guidelines, and quality standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives and assist with additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, logistics, retail, or customer service preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and experience using inventory management or order tracking systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout most of the workday.
• Ability to climb a ladder move product
• Ability to lift (minimum 30 lbs), carry, and move packages and inventory consistent with job duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, fulfillment, or operational environment.
