You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in. Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate. Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Occasional overtime available. Responsibilities: Load and unload trucks; receive product verifying accuracy, picking and packing product and putting product away in an appropriate manner Safely operate various warehouse equipment to pull and prepare outbound customer orders Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders Maintain good housekeeping of pipe yard and warehouse Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System) Requirements 1+ years of experience working in warehouse environments is required Knowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving, etc.) is preferred Forklift certification is preferred Combilift experience is preferred High attention to detail Ability to lift 50 lbs.; push/pull a cart weighing more than this Computer experience and ability to perform basic math problems required; knowledge of an order entry system (JDE/Oracle) a plus Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices. Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly *Pre-employment drug and background screening required* At Ferguson, we care for each other.
