Workday Hcm Lead Consultant

Project Scope: We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Lead Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a functional lead, partnering with business stakeholders, managing delivery teams, and ensuring successful implementation and optimization of Workday HCM modules. Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design
• Deliver end-to-end implementation and support of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.)
• Drive requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions aligned with best practices
• Provide expert guidance on Workday architecture and data models

• Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with HR leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define priorities and deliverables
• Act as the primary functional advisor for Workday HCM
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder presentations

• Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of Workday consultants and analysts
• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, quality standards, and documentation
• Support resource planning, allocation, and performance oversight

• Integration Data Management
• Oversee integration design with upstream/downstream systems (Payroll, Finance, third-party systems)
• Work closely with integration teams on EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, PECI, etc.
• Ensure data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities are completed successfully

• Testing Deployment
• Define test strategy and oversee unit testing, SIT, UAT, and go-live readiness
• Support defect resolution and deployment planning
• Ensure compliance with change management and release processes

• Post-Go-Live Support Optimization
• Provide hypercare support and continuous system enhancements
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
• Stay current on Workday releases and recommend improvements

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field. 7–12+ years of experience in HR systems, with 5+ years in Workday HCM. Proven experience leading at least 1–2 full lifecycle Workday implementations. Strong functional knowledge of: Core HCM Compensation Benefits Absence/Time Tracking Talent Performance Preferred Qualifications: Workday HCM Certification(s) (active or previously certified). Experience with global HCM implementations. Knowledge of Workday integrations and reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Dashboard). Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery models.
