The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking PLC Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and program PLC logic for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs, HMI, and robotic systems to resolve production issues.
- Design and implement control system modifications and upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to define control system requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and control system configurations.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on automated systems.
Recommended Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex automation issues.
Bonus Qualifications - Experience with SCADA and HMI development.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
- Knowledge of robotics programming and integration.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
- Experience with vision systems.
