Recreation Attendant

$17.00 Hour

Work Schedule
• Monday: 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KeyStaff, Inc. is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Recreation Attendant
to support recreational programs and facility operations for the City of Bonita Springs, Florida.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, promoting community
engagement, and helping create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for residents and
visitors of all ages.

Position Summary
The Recreation Attendant is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of recreation
facilities, supporting recreational programs and special events, providing excellent customer
service, and ensuring facilities remain clean, organized, and safe. The successful candidate will
be a positive team player who is comfortable interacting with the public and maintaining a
professional appearance and attitude.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Open, monitor, and secure recreation facilities as assigned.
• Set up and break down rooms, equipment, tables, chairs, and recreational areas for
programs and events.
• Monitor participants to ensure compliance with facility rules and safety guidelines.
• Assist with youth, adult, and senior recreational activities and special community events.
• Maintain cleanliness of recreation facilities, equipment, and activity areas.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Process registrations, answer phones, and provide information regarding programs and
facility rentals.
• Collect fees and accurately handle cash or electronic transactions when required.
• Assist with inventory of recreational supplies and equipment.
• Respond professionally to participant questions, concerns, and emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support recreation operations.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in recreation, customer service, hospitality, parks and recreation,
event support, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.

Requirements
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
